Adolescents’ experiences with help-seeking for menstrual pain
Although up to 90% of youth experience menstrual pain, only a subset of these youth seek help for their pain. Many who do seek help from a healthcare provider report negative experiences. This project focuses on uncovering the experiences of youth who seek help and understanding factors that may improve interactions with healthcare providers when it comes to menstrual pain.
