Health & Healthcare

Exploring Health & Healthcare evaluates the vital role of human connection and alignment in enhancing physical and mental health. Our research investigates how coordinating with others through activities like group dancing or singing impacts health outcomes ranging from cardiovascular fitness to people’s sense of meaning and purpose. We also explore topics such as how interpersonal alignment can be leveraged to reduce people’s experiences of pain and whether enhancing neurophysiological alignment between clients and practitioners can improve therapeutic treatment outcomes. This research theme seeks to promote wholistic approaches to healthcare that embrace the full spectrum of human connection and its profound impact on well-being.
