Experiences of “Acting as One” in Live Theatre
This project investigates powerful experiences of “acting as one”, that is, the sense that a group of people is acting as a singular entity with one mind or one body, in live theatre contexts. Funded by a SSHRC Insight Development Grant, we are carrying out a survey study of memorable experiences of acting as one and then we will develop an experimental protocol for inducing and manipulating experiences of acting as one in theatre contexts.
